The Robots are Coming!
Online event on 1 March at 6pm featuring Sarah Drummond talking about what advances in AI mean for services, UX, and the planet.
On Wednesday 1 March 2023 at 6pm, we are hosting a special online event on the AI revolution.
We are incredibly excited to have Sarah Drummond (director of School of Good Services, filmmaker of Section 28, and co-founder of Snook) speak about the potential changes that are coming. Read her recent essay for an overview of the issues and her blog post for some Service Design use cases.
After Sarah's talk we'll be opening the discussion up to the community. Here are some questions we might ask:
How has your workflow changed since the arrival of AI tools?
Are you excited or fearful?
What parts of your job would you like to automate?
Are any of you committed Luddites?
Side Project Special
Thanks to everyone who came down to The Space on the 1 February. For our first event in three years, we don’t think it could have gone better.
Check out the links from our wonderful speakers: Sue Smith from Glitch and Neil McKillop from Glasgow.social.
Neil Scott turned his introduction into a blog post here:
Thanks also to Bobby King for his interactive exercise and for getting everyone to commit to doing user testing on their side project.
And, finally, thanks to 20i Hosting for sponsoring so we could provide food and drink and The Space for providing a great, um, space.
